Choosing a Chameleon for a pet and taking care of your Chameleon. When deciding you would like a Chameleon for a pet, it would be advisable to do some research first before going out and buying your first Chameleon. Research can be done online, there are plenty of reptile forums, blogs and online pet stores with information available, you could also go to your local pet store and see for yourself what a Chameleon is like in person, asking the pet store assistant for basic information about  Chameleons habits and behavior would be a good idea also, then go home and have a think about what you have researched yourself online and what information you were told from the pet store assistant and have a good think before buying.  Now as a rule Chameleons are very easily stressed and they need a calm environment. so please take this into consideration when buying your first Chameleon, they also very fragile, so if you looking to have a pet you can handle, then think again, as they don't usually like been handles and played with like a toy.
